Meter by meter our winegrowers have wrested fruitful soils and created terraces from the mountains around Merano and in the Vinschgau. At altitudes between 300 and 900 metres above sea level, the sun’s rays, soil characteristics and microclimate all vary from vineyard to vineyard. The interaction between the alpine crispness and Mediterranean warmth and the high temperature fluctuations between day and night give our wines not only an extra special finesse, but also a distinct flavour development.
These conditions enable us to cultivate a range of grape varieties, which we have brought together in four ranges.
