Correct serving

The glass should not be overfilled so as to allow the aroma to develop properly. Elegant cool boxes are available for white wines. Red wine develops its full aroma in contact with oxygen at a pleasant room temperature. Older mature wines can be decanted into an elegant glass carafe in order to allow the wine to breathe and to remove the natural sediment. The wine should be slowly poured in, if possible without any excessive pouring noise. The bottle is held by its waist with the label always showing upwards. The wine glass is held by the stem, never by the body, to prevent body heat from the hand being transferred to the wine.
